Inferno cover revel and release date!!!!

Inferno cover reveal and release date!!!!!

I can’t tell you how excited I am for this. This book has been almost a decade in the making. Inferno was originally written as a serial short story for my homeschool riding group – the Saddle Up Club – for their monthly newsletter. It was one of the first stories I actually finished writing, and I got a lot of great comments and feedback from it back then.

While I was in the process of writing my novel – Midnight Dancer – I started having trouble concentrating. So to get the creative juices flowing again I picked Inferno back up and began completely re-writing it. My writing style has changed a lot since then, so I went pretty crazy on it –  and it has grown from a short story of about 9,000 words, to a full length novella that is now at approx. 27,000+ words!

Now, I am so happy to finally be able to re-introduce Inferno to the world!

So shiny!

5star-shiny-highres

I can’t even begin to tell you all how excited I am about this!

Here’s their review:

Shadowsong by C.M. Williams is a fantasy/allegory short story of around eight thousand words. Brave and determined Rhianna enters the Vault of the Master’s Song with her faithful warrior, Aronne. Her mission is to find the Orb and so possess its powers. But the ruthless and evil Lord Rogar has other plans. In the battle that ensues, Aronne is injured, the Orb appears to be destroyed, and Rhianna and Aronne find themselves trapped in the vault. Will Aronne forgive her for using him, and can Rhianna discover the real power and purpose behind the Orb?

C.M. Williams has crafted a well-written and intriguing story. The plot moves at a good pace with plenty of fast action and nail-biting moments. I loved the beginning where not too much is given away, and the reader is drawn into the magic, tension, and danger. Scenes are described with enough vividness to make them and the unique and fascinating characters believable.

Essentially, Shadowsong is about the battle between good and evil that has existed in the world since its creation. And it is about the light and goodness that constantly attempt to break through and triumph, despite man’s all too often inability to see and understand it. Rhianna’s discovery about the real purpose and power behind the Orb is a comparison with the biblical and Christian message about discovering truth, forgiveness, and finding strength in belief. The author weaves a subtle and powerful message through the story, making this a thought-provoking as well as entertaining fantasy. – Reader’s Favorite

Shadowsong Release Day!!!!!!!

Okay, super excited today. My baby is finally out in the world! *happy dance*
This story has been a long time in coming. I wrote it years ago for a Christian magazine, but it wasn’t quite what they were looking for. I re-wrote it completely this year and was shocked at just how much my writing style had changed in that time. I am so pleased with how it turned out and I hope you will be too!

And she’s finally up! I can’t tell you how excited I am. Publishing a story has been a dream of mine since I was old enough to read. After twenty-some years this dream is finally becoming reality!

Rhianna’s story has been something i have worked on for years now. I originally wrote it for publication in a small Christian magazine, but it wasn’t the kind of story they were looking for. Four years and one massive re-write later I decided to wade into the world of self publishing and try my luck. It still feels a bit surreal that I have finally done it.
